【土曜】午前中はガラ空きでした。マハロが引き返してきて遊んでくれました。後から「さくら」と「あんず」が入場。あんずは右後ろ足の指をゲートボールのポールに引っ掛けて負傷していました。それでも元気に走り回りました。

It's been a while since Jaime and Nacho met Riri on her second birthday, which was a couple of weeks ago. Riri kept running around at an amazingly good pace. It didn't take her long to get herself muddy all over.

Mahalo showed up looking drastically different. He had his fur cropped really short for the summer. Hoku and Mahalo, small though they may be, are excellent sumo wrestlers. They fought many bouts today.

"Let's", a four-month-old Saluki, has a curious habit of leaping through the air. Not to be outdone by his baby brother, Ronnie invented a new game whose object is to jump as high as possible and bite off a leaf from the tree branches that hang over the dog yard. So far Ronnie is the only contestant.

Just as Jaime and Nacho were getting ready to leave, Kosey came in. Too bad they didn't have time to play with him. "Oh well, next time.", said the gentle Rhodesian giant to Jaime and Nacho, "See you around, guys."

There was a brief encounter with Mahalo this morning. He was on his way somewhere and looked rather busy. Jaime and Nacho were fascinated to see him strut out of the Dog Yard with saddlebags on his back.

Later two Whippets turned up. Anzu had injured her right hind toe and was not quite her usual self.
